That said, already existing content created by others using the AI features will not be deleted.<\/p>\n<p>For Instagram users under 18 with public accounts, only those who follow can reuse the media if their account settings allow for reuse.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also notable that users will not be notified when their images are remixed using AI. To do so:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Open <strong>Instagram<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Go to your <strong>profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Tap the <strong>\u2630\u00a0menu<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Settings and activity<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Sharing and reuse<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Scroll to <strong>Allow people to create with and reuse your content<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n    Turn off:\u00a0<strong>Posts<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Reels<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Instagram users with public profiles are recommended to turn off the setting, as the created prior to disabling it isn&#8217;t deleted.
